Work is winding down…but there’s still a SANTA appearance!

Wednesday, December 13th, 2006

Work is definitely slowing down as the holidays approach. Auditions are still happening but fewer and fewer as the days go on. But hey, I still have at least one or two more performances left in me this year. I’m playing ‘the conductor’ from the book “The Polar Express” (and making a surprise appearance as Santa!) for my daughter’s kindergarten classmates tomorrow morning. A hundred and twenty screaming five year-old kids! Yikes!! As long as they don’t pull my Santa beard off, I should be OK.

I also have a lead in two Christmas movies that seem to be on television a lot this time of year. “Once Upon A Christmas” and its sequel “Twice Upon A Christmas”. They are very enjoyable, light-hearted family movies. John Dye and Kathy Ireland were both delightful to work with. Look for the movies on your local ‘family’ channels like ABC Family or the Hallmark Channel.

There are some very exciting things happening with the pilot – THE GREAT ADVENTURES OF WALTER FLUNN right now, all of which is too early to talk about here. But stay tuned… 2007 could be a very ‘Flunn’ year!

I wish all visitors to my website a very happy holiday season and may 2007 be a year filled with good health, much happiness, and terrific prosperity.
